Liselotte is “a pretty woman in the bloom of her life, with a kind smile and an evidently well-ordered lifestyle,” waiting for the One. Or at least a one – any sort of man who, in his own imperfect way, might be capable of sharing the solitary life she leads in her thirties.

And they do come: they appear one after another in the apartment Liselotte inherited in exchange for elderly care – the former classmate, the hypertensive bachelor from a dating site, a plumber who shows up far too late… and the line of hand-picked husband candidates could go on.

Yet it seems that either something is wrong with the men, or Liselotte herself is under a curse, for none of them proves to be a viable match and each gives up far too soon. Liselotte, however, throws herself with unfaltering enthusiasm into one carefully arranged – or completely unwanted – date after another.

The situations, rooted in realistic everyday circumstances but driven to the point of absurdity, balance on the edge between comedy and heart-tightening truth. The fast-paced, humorous contemporary text offers room for true acting bravura: one female and six male roles are performed by only two actors – Ramóna Gecse and Ernő Galló.
