There are some who cannot feel the difference between good and bad. You could say they have no conscience. What is bad? For example, taking advantage of someone. Ingratiating yourself into someone’s trust with small acts of kindness, winning their favor, conquering them, getting under their skin, stealing their heart, possessing them, subjugating them, exploiting them, squeezing them dry; and then, when they have lost themselves, when they wake up in the morning for you and pray to you at night; when their thoughts are born from your mind, and they shiver if they cannot warm themselves in the light of your eyes, you simply cast them out, like the human skin does with a foreign object. Get out, you’re not needed here anymore! Seeing such a castaway makes one want to cry.
